The Maxwell hotel building was selected by Six Senses for its historical appeal, its classical design and exquisite location. Situated in Chinatown’s old quarter Tanjong Pagar, also regarded as Jinrickshaw Palace, one can now find Six Senses second new hotel! The Duxton, located just a moments distance of The Maxwell, holds a unique story of its own. The Six Senses brought in Anouska Hempel; a visionary from London, to design the interior of the hotel.
