Some of the top attractions you can enjoy in Nashville are the Grand Ole Opry. Founded in 1925 it is the longest-running radio broadcast in the U.S., an immensely popular place for country music stars to play. You can take a walking tour. A great way to introduce you to the city, whether you’re interested in shopping, history, food or music, there is a walking tour that will suit your needs!
If you like Whiskey you can visit the Jack Daniels Distillery, located in Lynchburg approx. 1.5 hours outside of Nashville, you can learn about the distilling process while tasting some savory whiskey along the way.
Your next stop will be Atlanta, approximately a 4-hour drive from Nashville. About halfway into the drive, you will come across the Chickamauga & Chattanooga National Park. We would recommend stopping here for a few hours and enjoy the beauty of this park. You can also enjoy a few activities while here such as hiking, horseback riding, rock climbing, kayaking and others, a great way to get in touch with nature for a few hours!
Once you have left here, continue on your drive until you have reached Atlanta. In Atlanta, we recommend the Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead, located in an affluent area in Atlanta with its high-end shopping malls, restaurants and bars it is the perfect location to stay! If you are a fan of The Walking Dead then you will know that a few seasons were filmed here. You can book a tour to see exactly where some of their scenes were shot! During your time in Atlanta, you can also visit Centennial Olympic Park, Georgia Aquarium, CNN Studio Tour, Segway Tours, Six Flags over Georgia and so much more! After you spend a few nights here take the 3.5-hour drive down to the beautiful and charming city of Savannah, where it is known for its manicured parks, horse-drawn carriages and stunning architecture. Savannah is home great boutique stores and tons of restaurants and pubs. The movie Forrest Gump also makes Chippewa Square famous with its bench scenes, one of the benches they used in the movie now sits in the Savannah History Museum. During your time in Savannah we would recommend staying at Perry Lane Hotel. A brand-new build that opened its doors in summer of 2018. The outside of the hotel has a modern feel to it but when you step inside it has a retro bohemian touch to it, and they have a rooftop lounge that offers comprehensive city views.
After you have left the picturesque city of Savannah, head out to Orlando, only a 4-hour drive. Orlando is home to the most magical place on Earth, Disney. This will be the perfect way to end your vacation. Spend a few days between four of the Disney theme parks. You could also visit Sea World, Kennedy Space Center, and much more if you wish to try something other than Disney.
During your time here we would recommend staying at the Four Seasons Orlando, located right on the Disney grounds it is super easy to get to any of the theme parks. This hotel also is home to a lazy river, which is a great way to relax and unwind after a day at Disney. You can also enjoy spectacular views of fireworks every night at the hotel.
